The NanoGong Applet

Using the above NanoGong applet you can:

  • Record your voice
  • Play it back
  • Use the speed control to speed up/slow down your voice
  • Save the recorded voice to hard disk

It shows the basic use of the applet and can be created by the following html page:

The above applet uses the best quality (a sampling rate of 44100Hz) for highly compressed audio recording, which may require a fast machine to process the recording.

If you have encountered problem such as delay or noisy playback you may try the following applets that use smaller sampling rates. The sampling rate of the NanoGong applet can be adjusted using the sampling rate parameter.

Good Quality

This applet uses a sampling rate of 32000Hz.

Average Quality

This applet uses a sampling rate of 16000Hz.
